German DVDs by Tiberius Film and Blu-ray releases are cut approx. three minutes to verify "Not under 18" rating (this was necessary because guidelines for video releases are stricter than theatrical releases). Basically every violent scene was cut to tone down the violence.

So I went into this hoping it would be the same format as the first one.
A psycho clown meets strangers and takes them out for 90 minutes in a horrible way. Don’t get me wrong, the brutality was turned up to 11 and they got a little funnier. But there were some really stretched scenes. And I thought they created a plot and a story worth watching.
They even set up plot devices that at first seemed like a hell of a sequel. But by the time the Credits rolled, not a single question was answered, and the plot was not resolved.
