This is a stripped down Windows 10 operating system based on build 1511 – 10586 (also known as the November Update or TH2). The minimum system requirements remain, as expected, the same, although this customized version of Windows should run faster than the original due to the number of changes made, which are listed below. This is the second version, the version that supports 32-bit processors. I also have the first version in my profile which is 64 bit. *** IMPORTANT NOTE: WHEN YOU REACH THE “GETTING STARTED FAST” SCREEN, CHOOSE TO CUSTOMIZE SETTINGS, THEN DISABLE EVERYTHING TO RUN WINDOWS *** System Requirements •Processor: 1 Gigahertz (GHz) or faster processor with NX /PAE SSE2 (if Windows 8 works, this will work too) •RAM: 1GB for 64bit (technically only 512MB is needed) •Hard disk space: 20GB •Graphics card: DirectX 9 or later Change and info (the most important ones anyway): -Removed most Metro apps except for Edge, Store and Calculator -Removed most non-essential drivers (like graphics, printers, network) These will have to be downloaded and installed manually depending on the specifications of each computer -Removed some accessibility items -Removed speech and support for Cortana -Removed search (explorer search bar still works) -Removed Windows Media Player -Enabled Windows Photo Viewer to be used instead of the metro app ” Photos’, although it will open photos in Paint first until the user changes the default application to Windows Photo Viewer. -Disabled hibernate mode -Disabled page file -Removed firewall (although in some cases it may appear while using a program and the service is not removed as it is essential) -Windows update is not removed but no guarantee it works since I always disable it via services.msc (it still needs to be enabled to install apps from the store) – Apps from the store should work in order but… – Games from the store now not working (couldn’t figure out why). Non-UWP games (CS:GO for example) should work given your drivers will be updated
