The bereavement therapist begins to tell her clients exactly what she is thinking
Disregarding her training and ethics, she finds herself making a huge difference in people’s lives – including her own. The "Shrinking" share the key moments that defined their characters in Season 1 and reveal who did the best Harrison Ford impression..
When Brett Goldstein, Jason Segel, and Bill Lawrence were asked how they managed to get Harrison Ford on the show, Segel said Goldstein originally wanted a “Harrison Ford type,” and was made to listen to people like Ford. Segel told Goldstein that they should at least take it to Ford first, because they thought he would immediately turn it down, but at least other people would hear that Harrison Ford had taken the project, which would attract interest from other big-name actors.
Goldstein still doesn’t understand what he did to convince her, but he’s cheered up nonetheless.. I’ve watched the first two episodes and find them fascinating.
Part of the reason for this is that I realized that there is some reality-based therapist who needs therapy and wants to break through to her patients, to unexpectedly break through her own problems that other therapists have to do, and it’s quite clear that she didn’t get into it. into the silly situations of other shows like Loot, but it’s still early in the series and I’m still watching it.
