A Montana ranching family faces off against others who encroach on their land. Forrie J. Smith, who plays Lloyd, is an expert in the rodeo world. John Dutton (Kevin Costner) seems to frequently “forget” his Montana accent and reverts to the Southern California voice he often uses. Featured on WatchMojo: Top 10 Summer TV Shows That Aren’t On Your Radar (2018). This is the kind of show where cowboy and western life meets big city mob life. This show has a good cast, the first two episodes are well-written, and leave you wanting more after each episode. Not to mention, the scenery of Montana and Utah is beautiful. The Duttons remind me of the Ewings from the 1970s drama “Dallas.” In short, Yellowstone is “Dallas” meets “The Sopranos.”
