I’ve always loved the DC universe, and while I think the DCEU has been overrated, I’ve been very disappointed with several DCEU projects. This series has fantastic characters and is extremely creative.

I think when James Gunn says that superhero movies and TV have become too generic, he’s right on point

There have been so many superhero movies in the last decade that when people see that a new one has come out, they don’t go to the theaters thinking “another superhero movie that’s been too many”; Since they are all the same, just a generic action movie (mainly sequels) I think james gunn will really change things and I can’t wait for him. I also think that since Marvel is so much more popular, DC has a lot of great characters that have been overlooked (by fans) and I think that if everything in DC comes out in the next few years, lesser known characters will be able to do well at the box office as long as they can catch people’s attention and have a really special feeling about them.
