This is Netflix’s most expensive Latin American project yet, with Colombian groups and indigenous communities building the props and sets for the series.
It’s always a challenge to translate inner thoughts and fears and doubts and inner reactions to things like visions! The dubbing is pretty good in English, but I switched to Spanish with English subtitles and it was more comfortable.
I’m glad they take their time at the table because it’s important to set the scene, and even so it feels a bit rushed, but with sixteen episodes I can live with that. No expense was spared with the locations and sets, and that helps create the atmosphere.
