Sequel to Avatar: The Way of Water (2022). The plot is unknown. In an interview with French news outlet 20 Minutes (via Culture Crave), James Cameron revealed that the third film will feature a villainous group of Na’vi called the Ash People. “I want to show the Na’vi from another angle because [so far] I’ve only shown their good sides. In the first films, there are very negative human examples and very positive Na’vi examples. In Avatar 3, we’ll do the opposite.” Followed by Avatar 4 (2029)
