The cast gives some truly great performances

The storytelling is solid, with twists and turns that keep you hooked, and the cinematography captures the eerie atmosphere perfectly. That said, I have to say that Ms.

Lynch’s acting was rather underwhelming

Her performance felt very one-dimensional, which unfortunately stood out in a cast full of strong, nuanced performances. It’s not about race – I can think of several brilliant black actresses who could have brought more depth and complexity to the role.

It’s certainly not perfect, but it’s worth watching

It’s just that her performance wasn’t up to the standard of the show, which was disappointing. Still, the series is worth watching for its story and the outstanding performances of the other cast.
