Long (Hiệp Trần Nghĩa), a Vietnamese driver from Southern California, answers a late-night pickup call. Already in his pajamas, he reluctantly accepts a man, Tây (Dustin Nguyen), and his two companions. But the men, who have recently escaped from an Orange County jail, take Long hostage at gunpoint, including him in their escape plan. When complications arise, the fugitives and their hostages hide out in a motel and a tense waiting game ensues.
