Easy download with one click
When you click a download link in your browser, IDM takes over the download and speeds it up. You don’t need to do anything special, just browse the web as usual. IDM catches your downloads and speeds them up. IDM supports HTTP, FTP, HTTPS and MMS protocols.
Dark theme
IDM’s dark theme displays dark surfaces on most of the user interface. It is designed to complement the default (or light) theme. The dark theme reduces the brightness emitted by the screen while still meeting the minimum color contrast ratio. It helps improve visual ergonomics by reducing eye strain, adjusting brightness to the current light conditions, and making the screen easier to use in dark environments while saving energy.
Dynamic segmentation
Internet Download Manager has optimized file download logic. IDM dynamically divides downloaded files into file segments, unlike other download accelerators that divide the downloaded file into segments once just before starting the download process. Dynamic segmentation results in significant download performance gains. When the file download starts, it is not clear how many connections can be opened. When a new connection becomes available, IDM finds the largest segment to download and splits it. So the new connection starts downloading the file halfway through the largest file segment. IDM minimizes the time required to negotiate with servers and keeps all connections busy.
Download the resume
Internet Download Manager resumes the unfinished download from where it left off. Comprehensive error recovery and resumption feature resumes interrupted or interrupted downloads due to connection loss or interruption, network problems, computer shutdown or unexpected power outage.
Built-in scheduler
