Troubled by the disappearance of her father 30 years ago, Stella returns to her hometown to take care of her sick mother. Stella will have to travel back in time to get him back by activating Takli Genesis. This film offers many pleasant moments if it is not taken too seriously.
This is a science fiction mystery based on a time travel story that combines elements of drama, comedy, horror and fantasy. At times, it seemed that the director has a catalog of film walls, from which a fragment is randomly selected and included in the film. As a result, the audience will see a crazy set of aliens, dinosaurs, spaceships, zombies, kaiju and much more that could not be expected.
In this film, there are a large number of them, which are often belittled in dialogues with such expressions as “Everything is fine”, “Don’t worry” or “Everything will be good”. Although the actors seemed to be trying their best, the acting is another weakness of this film. At first, the British parent spoke as if he was recording a chapter on English for primary school listening.
The funniest character of all was Mordin, the silent survivor who would save the day when everyone else had despaired. Overall, our Taklee Genesis score is a solid seven out of ten. We watched the original version with English subtitles in the cinema.
